GENZLER® AMPLIFICATION is proud to announce the addition of the MAGELLAN® 350-BA10-COMBO to their line of compact, high powered bass amplifiers and cabinet. They configured the MG-350 amplifier with the Bass Array™10-2 cabinet to be offered as an extremely small combo rig that delivers big output and tone.
This is THE NEXT GENERATION of compact, high performance bass amplification.
The combo “kit” allows the mounting of the MG-350 amplifier to the BA10-2 cabinet using the “hidden” MG-350-CRADLE, which can be mounted to the top surface of the cabinet using provided mounting screws in each cabinet. This allows easy installation or removal of the amp to the cabinet for even more flexibility with this powerful little combo. The MG-350 delivers 175 watts as the combo and with an additional BA10-2 extension cabinet puts out 350 watts into this remarkable “mini-stack”.
The BA10-2 cabinet design blends the punch and quickness of a single premium Neodymium 10” driver in a vented bass reflex enclosure, along with the performance and pattern control of a proprietary line array element utilizing 4 custom designed 2.5” neodymium drivers. The benefits of combining both design platforms in an extremely compact cabinet are exponential for the player requiring such a small, yet powerful enclosure. This model also offers a unique cabinet shape with an angled baffle — tilting up towards the player — and a single top/rear mounted edge-lift handle for an easy grab and go solution.
The MG350-BA10-COMBO delivers a full-bodied, defined, musically smooth and seamless response in this compact design and is ideal for electric or upright/double bass requirements. The performance and response is much larger than its minimal size and stage footprint.
An optional heavy-duty carry bag is also available for easy transport and protection.

I had the opportunity to test out my new Genzler Combo in various configurations over the last week and I am very impressed.
Firstly, the build quality of both the BA10-2 Cab and the Magellan 350 head are first rate. Nice touch on the BA10-2 is the use of both Neutrik and 1/4″” combo jacks which allows great flexibility with cables, especially if you only have a Neutrik/1/4″ cable on hand.
I first used the Combo with my NS NXT EUB with my trio consisting of Bass/Drums/Guitar. We don’t get stupid loud, but it’s loud enough when the drummer gets excited. The combo performed perfectly with just a touch of bass boost and a reduction on treble to tame the peizo highs coming off the EUB.
You pick up the whole thing with one hand for a very easy load in/out.
Another gig was with a six piece blues band which can get loud, and for that gig I used a Barefaced Big Baby Two with the BA10-2 on top so I could hear myself better on stage. Again driven by the Magellan 350, the tone was exemplary. The two speakers presented a 4 ohm load so I was getting the full power out of the amp. Again, all up a super lightweight rig with a BIG sound.
I can see that if you had 2 BA10-2’s stacked, you would have a super lightweight rig and get the advantages of you and your band members being able to hear you better on stage. This setup would cover most gigs that I do these days. Highly recommended.

I received Genzler MG350/BA10 Bass Combo Series 2 in quick time and lined it up the very next day for a bar gig in my hometown. I was amazed at the sound out of the amp with two guitars, vocals and drums to compete with even when configured as a 175W single speaker. The tone is amazing and the power coming from the amp blew me away! My guitarist told me to turn down straight away when I set it up and even with the Master Volume set to 9 o’clock there were no problems with hearing the big bottom end with mids and treble to die for! The build quality is second to none. I highly recommend this little beast for small to mid-size gigs. Really looking forward to exploring this amp more in different sized venues!
