This is a German Sadowsky MetroLine Limited Special Edition 1 off 50 built worldwide 4 & 5 string combined.  Just like the Sadowsky NYCs this 5 string Sadowsky comes with a chambered body for better resonance and weight control. At just 3.7 kg it makes it a dream to play!

Built with a specially selected, highly figured, Poplar Burl top with a Chambered Red Alder body. This bass represents the unique Modern Sadowsky bass “on steroids” with a very powerful punchy, cutting, yet very musical sound and tone that will make sure the bass stands out in any playing situation without “stepping on anyone’s toes”. This is a very comfortable and extremely playable bass, setup with low action. What you get is a very “lively” instrument where the notes jump out and resonate clearly with definition, while staying fat, tight and strong with a good amount of growl and punch, and can be easily tamed simply with the VTC (vintage tone control) when required. No matter what style of playing, this bass will perform and impress with plenty of character and will make heads turn.
