This Sadowsky has a very warm, round tone, giving you a very vintage, 60’s jazz bass vibe with a hint of a modern clear and crisp sound. In addition the preamp comes with the custom Will Lee mid-boost circuit, that lets you select 500 or 800 Hz, wide or narrow boost for more punch, and edge, which is also enhanced with the J/J Sadowsky “single coil” pickups. Strong tight and defined lows, plenty of low mid growl without any harshness, and sweet highs that cut through. This is a very versatile workhorse and will do everything from jazz right through to classic rock and everything else in between.
